Sukhvinder Rai, recently joined The Housing Network as Director of Housing and Support. In her previous role as Senior Commissioner at Hertfordshire County Council, Sukhvinder led on enacting pan-Hertfordshire system change programmes to facilitate holistic commissioning to improve housing, health and wellbeing outcomes for people experiencing homelessness and multiple disadvantage.
She has over 20 years’ working experience in local government, leading on housing strategy and allocations, landlord accreditation and the delivery of statutory homelessness services. Her experience also extends to the charitable sector where she was Vice-Chair on the Board of Trustees for Herts Young Homeless.
