About this Talk
A lack of suitable and affordable homes is one of the key battles we face in our aspirations to end homelessness in England. In response, we have seen a rise in the use of modular housing for people experiencing homelessness.
In this session we will hear from two services using modular housing, Jimmy’s Cambridge and Centrepoint, to:
- Learn how modular is being used to respond to homelessness
- Explore the impact and outcomes of the model
- Understand what it takes to develop and deliver modular housing and what good practice looks like
- Discuss the opportunities and risks of modular and its role in ending homelessness
